ProcureOne are partnering an established organisation to help them recruit a first class IT Procurement Category Manager on a Fixed Term Contract basis
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager and working within a fantastic procurement team you will lead end to end procurement across the IT categories. This will include:
- Managing the end to end procurement cycle including the preparation of pre-tender, RFQ, tender documents, tender execution and contract award.
- Identify and deliver sourcing opportunities across the IT / Technology business areas through insight and analysis.
- Lead on spend analysis, supplier fit & supplier market reviews
- Manage supplier risk, supplier controls & governance and ensure that risk assessments are applied to all sourcing decisions.
- Manage the relationship and engagement with internal stakeholders up to director level through regular and close working relationships.
- Collaborate with business leads to ensure the best deal has been achieved. Lead on commercial and contractual negotiation.
- Contract management and drafting of terms
- Improve procurement team process and policy and take own initiative to spot better ways of working.
- Draft legal and commercial terms.
