ProcureOne are working with a growing technology group to support them to recruit a contractor for a 3-6 month project to build their IT Professional Services Category Strategy.
Deliverables will include:
- Assess the current landscape for the IT Professional Services Category through various mechanisms including analyzing historical spend, segmentation and contractual mapping.
- Identify supplier fragmentation and supplier overlap
- Drive stakeholder discovery meetings in order to manage and document pipeline, critical skill needs, supplier performance and operational constraints.
- Build IT Professional Services Category Strategy, develop supplier rationalization model, benchmark rates, analyze market data, design the preferred supplier panel structure and rules of engagement, and quantify addressable spend and savings by value lever.
- Execute sourcing and negotiation by running end to end tender process. Build rate card templates and pricing structures. Document awarded outcomes and negotiated savings.
- Establish a supplier governance framework.
You will have proven IT professional services category build experience – not purely maintenance of an inherited category.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate solid market knowledge of Professional services rate structures, markups, MSP/VMS commercial models.
You will have excellent data manipulation and stakeholder management experience – being able to build trust very quickly.
This project role is remote and can be based anywhere in the US. Must have US right to work.
