£60k plus car allowance and strong bonus opportunities
6 Months Fixed Term Contract

ProcureOne are currently partnering a Global organisation to support the recruitment of a new Procurement Category Manager to their team.

Working with internal and external stakeholders across the group you will drive category strategy for Packaging. Your role will include:

Develop, lead and execute category strategy for packaging across the business.
Evaluate new suppliers and negotiate new contracts
Project manage the procurement stream for new products launches liaising with operations, finance and products teams
Drive cost through the category but with a focus on ESG initiatives and sustainability goals.
Suitable candidates will have proven Packaging Category Management experience or will be a senior buyer with a generalist background looking to take the next step in a different category area.

Behavioural skills are key for this role and they include:

Strong influencing skills
Someone who can manage and prioritise workload
‘Can do’, Proactive approach
Emotional Intelligence – with the ability to adapt your style of communication
Logical clear thinker
Team player
